Mayor Sylvester Turner recently joined forces with the Anosh Inc. Foundation and the City of Houston for the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive. This collaborative effort distributed 500 turkey dinners to families in need, showcasing the community’s commitment to supporting one another.

A notable highlight was the allocation of 80 turkey dinners to the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, showcasing a dedication to serving diverse segments of the community.

Despite the challenges, the efficient coordination by volunteers ensured that all 500 turkey dinners were distributed by 11:30 a.m. Dr. Anosh Ahmed, founder of the Anosh Inc. Foundation, expressed gratitude to partners and the community, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to ensuring that no one goes without a warm meal on Thanksgiving.
